Took my wife, and son kayak fishing last Saturday in Gasparilla Sound In Boca Grande. We caught 7 BIG Seatrout and lost about 8 more that were bigger. Some were over 20 inches long. We caught them on live shrimp under a popping cork, a mirror lure, and soft plastic. We lost fish because we didn’t have a net. While trying to pull them in the kayaks the hook would come out of their soft mouth.
