When choosing the right fishing kayak there are a few things to consider. I would definitely get a sit-on-top kayak. They are easier to move around on, for example, they have storage in the back where you can keep your bait, cooler, or fish bag. The sit-in kayaks don’t have this storage space. Second, if you happen to fall out, it’s much easier to get back on the kayak. A third reason for a sit-on-top kayak is some of them you can stand up on, like the one in the picture. This perception has a nice web seat that’s adjustable and it has plenty of storage room.
Always look for a kayak that’s at least 11 ft long. The shorter ones don’t track as well. Perception is a well-known brand.
