I had a kayak fishing charter last week with 2 guys from Pittsburgh. We had a good time catching trout that were 15-18″ long. the bigger trout are in the shallows getting ready to spawn. The last few trout I have cleaned all had roe in them.
If you’re in the Charlotte County area this is a good time to catch some nice trout. A lot of times we catch 6-8 small trout for every one over 17″, but lately we are catching more bigger ones.
