Fished Gasparilla Sound on Friday with 2 charter clients. It was the most productive day I’ve had in four years. In 90 minutes four of us caught about 70 Trout. We had 4-5 keepers, the rest were just a few inches short of legal size. One of my clients caught Trout on every cast for about an hour, it was like fishing in a pond. My son and I were fishing with Zman soft plastic baits and were catching them on almost every cast. The faster we worked the bait the more bites we got. it was a great morning on the water. perfect weather and a lot of action. We finished the day fishing by some docks and one of my clients caught a 20″ Redfish.
